First Baseball Game

Its the spring time whirlwind-school activities and projects take off and sports keep things rolling.  Last week James finally had his first baseball game-he is learning about rain-outs this season.  James is super excited to play, actually to just wear his pants with his belt and socks that cover his entire leg.  I think he would wear his uniform all day if he could.  I was reminded of how young the boys are and how learning baseball begins-with complete chaos.  It was a tackle fest-who could run to the ball the fastest and literately tackle the baseball and then after climbing out from under their other team mates who decided to tackle the person with the ball attempt to toss it to first...if the by any chance the boy playing first actually stayed on first!  It is crazy to watch-and just entertaining.  James hit the ball, ran the bases, bossed his team mates around and stopped a grounder..He was all smiles.  The team was pumped because there was no outs and everyone bats and runs...James thought they creamed the other team, very funny because he is used to watching Brayden play where only 3 or 5 boys bat.  He thought they had an awesome game!

So these are the two buddy boys ready for their baseball to start-they spend a lot of time watching the big boys play-both love to play.
