NOPE!! Not us, but our friends decided to tackle this huge goal this year. They did such a great job-I forget how agonizing those last six miles can be...but watching all the runners clearly reminded me why shorter distances might be the way to go. Dan and Marleny did such a great job, it was a beautiful morning, perfect for getting out along the race course and cheering them on. Turned out we cheered a lot of people on. The kids loved giving high fives, it amazed me how many people went out of their way to come give them to the kids. The cow bells were loud but when the kids tired of ringing the runners yelled out for more bells. We were so proud for both of them, crossing the line with wonderful times, The dedication to training is a huge commitment in itself ....all the early morning Saturday runs, finding sitters, finding time during the week which is filled with the busyness that comes with four kids. WAY TO GO DAN AND MARLENY!!
