So it seems like this past week has been just one thing after another-all fun of course, just makes for busy days. Our week was full of normal schools activities plus Easter parties. I was actually able to go to Brayden's with the little ones in tow-usually a no sibling rule keeps us our of the fun. Brayden's party was a full out affair-playground, animals, fishing, trampoline, food, balls......I think Brayden and the other kids could have stayed all day. Becca had just as much fun as her party was at a house with a fun little creek-great for exploring and getting muddy. A Cub scouts biking outing kept the week interesting (thanks to Ron for helping), and now we are on to more Easter fun. Mom and Dad arrived earlier Friday morning-I was about out of my mind thinking someone was breaking into our house....who knew they were driving straight through??? Mom said she told Becca! The boys hit the golfing range, had some batting practice....girls shopped, played dolls and read lots of books, and Ron and I enjoyed a bike ride together. Brayden managed to have his baseball game-just a minor downpour. One hit and some good fielding. Then on to an Easter egg hunt moved in doors due to rain/cold. Such fun, all the kids have it figured out, even the little ones. The group is big but we still have two more little ones to add next year. Just a short recap for our week and some quick pics-lots of fun but my free time is little these days.
A fun picture...James makes sure he wears his baseball "hat" to any baseball game, Braydens and ORU's, he is in love with the game.
Just a couple minutes after this picture the downpour hit and everyone made a mad dash for their cars....Andrea said instead of "girls night out" it was the "girls rain run"
The kids had fun playing a scrabble game with Grandma, fun to see them learn words and spelling-each growing up so fast!
After our Easter Egg hunt we hauled out the play dough...what else to do on a cold rainy day with friends. Brayden still gets into it and today his quest was a man riding an alligator.
I think the kids had most fun tackling Grandpa at the end of all the fun.
