Bare Feet EveryoneWe usually have a time after dinner when we sit and read a bible story. Most of the time it seems the kids are not paying attention and in their own little world. Today Ron was ready about Jesus instructing the disciples on how and where to fish. Towards the end of the story there was a sentence about Jesus telling his discliples that from now on they would be fisher's of men. It was at this point that Brayden-under his breath said "fisher's of men......YUK!" I just about died of laughter. He was dead serious. Who would want to fish for men???
Anyway, today my sister and her little girl Emily made it into town for the week. The kids were so excited. Becca loves trying to help feed, dress-basically anything having to do with Emily. Brayden loves making Emily laugh, he spent much of the evening jumping around making funny faces and funny noises, which of course Emily loved. Andrea just followed everyone around not wanting to miss any of the action.
We also have weathered a short bout of sickness. Thankfully we have been very healthy this winter season. Last night was a different story, poor Brayden was up most of the night throwing up, and when he ran out of food his little body would just shake with his stomach heaving...it was a long night. Not only was I concerned about Brayden but at the same time I worry about Ron since they both seem to share the Haveman weak stomach gene. I am hoping for a much quieter night.
